This day activity provides you with the full Provencal sensory experience enjoying and learning about two of the best things this wonderful region has to offer – its fabulous food and its exquisite wines.
Learn how to prepare typical Provencal dishes with Barbara Schuerenberg, Wine Uncovered’s cooking consultant. In the morning, you will learn how to recreate the taste and flavours of Provence for your family and friends back home using seasonal produce fresh from Vaison-la-Romaine's famous market and the trusted local farmer's shop. The cooking class take place in Barbara's kitchen in her beautiful private Provencal house overlooking Vaison and Mont Ventoux.
Enjoy the product of your morning’s work with some excellent local wines on Barbara’s delightful garden terrace. After lunch, I will collect you for a Wine Uncovered guided visit to the vineyards and cellars of two leading Southern Rhône wine domaines.
Price: 110 euros per person for the full day, subject
to a minimum of two and a maximum of four people.

9.30am Meet at Barbara’s house
12.30 pm Lunch
2pm Leave for tour of the vineyards and wineries of two leading Domaines
5pm Return to Barbara’s house.
Transport to/from Barbara’s: You require your car to get to Barbara Schuerenberg’s house for the cooking class. Wine Uncovered will then collect you (maximum of 4 people) from Barbara’s for the afternoon wine tour and return you to Barbara’s house at the end of the tour.
Residence pick-up: Wine Uncovered uses an air-con. minibus service that can collect up to 8 people from their residence in the morning and return them to their residence after the wine tour. Please contact us for a quote.
